When accuracy and expert analysis matter
MedChrona turns thousands of pages of treatment records into a clear chronological summary — prepared by a clinician with experience in the case matter and delivered through a HIPAA-compliant portal.
For law firms, physicians, and insurance adjusters — plaintiff, defense, workers' compensation, and malpractice matters alike.
Our difference — when accuracy and expert analysis matter
Your case is never left to software alone, and never sent offshore to reviewers whose summaries read like translations. Every MedChrona summary is reviewed by a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician based in North America and actively engaged in clinical practice — with experience in the matter at hand — in a company founded by a practicing physician.
Nothing is skimmed or sampled. The complete record — every visit, study, and note — is read and woven into one chronological story by a clinician who understands what the chart says.
Your records are assigned to an NP, PA, or physician whose clinical background fits them — a North America-based clinician still seeing patients today.
The record is reviewed objectively and focused on the questions your side needs answered. When the matter calls for expert opinions, our top tier delivers them from a board-certified physician.
Encrypted portal intake, MFA on every account, audit-logged uploads and downloads, BAAs where required. Records never move by email — in either direction.
Technology, in its place
AI-assisted. Clinician-verified.
We use AI-based tools and we're open about it — organizing thousands of pages and surfacing what's in them is work software does well. What software can't do is stand behind the result. Every AI-assisted summary is checked, verified, and edited by the practicing clinician responsible for your case — read against the actual PDFs to ensure every pertinent clinical detail is captured. Eyes on the records, every time. AI makes the work faster. The clinician makes it right.
The process
Tell us who you are — firm, physician practice, or carrier — and who needs logins. Your secure workspace is ready the same business day. Already registered? Just log in.
Drag PDFs of any size into your secure upload request. The same day, we count them and confirm your exact price — total pages × your rate. No quote step, no surprises.
One click — saved card or ACH — and review begins with a committed completion date. Records are organized and summarized by a clinician matched to the case matter.
You're notified the moment the summary is complete — and it's already in your portal, paid and released: ready to file, forward, or hand to your expert. No invoice to chase, in either direction.
Who we serve
Three professions, one shared problem: the answers are somewhere in a few thousand pages of medical records, and nobody has the hours to find them.
Plaintiff or defense, the complete treatment story for demands, discovery, and depositions — with prior conditions, treatment gaps, and inconsistencies surfaced from the full record, not the other side's excerpts.
Walk into the examination already knowing the record. A complete chronology — prior complaints to the same body part, treatment gaps, imaging results — prepared before your review clock starts, so your time goes to the exam and the opinion, not to sorting a banker's box of PDFs.
Claims professionals who need the complete treatment picture — prior conditions, gaps, and all — before reserving, settling, or referring the file for an independent examination.
For examining physicians
When you hand off a record review, your name still goes on the report. The work has to meet the standard you would hold your own review to. That is the standard here. Every record is read in full and weighed with the critical eye of a practicing clinician, then assembled into a single chronology. Prior complaints involving the same body part are traced back through the chart. Treatment gaps and imaging findings are flagged where they occur. The hours you used to spend sorting and summarizing go to the examination and the analysis instead. Your practice takes on more cases without more nights at the desk.
Your report has to survive cross-examination, and so does your preparation. Every page of the record is read and accounted for. Nothing is sampled and nothing is skipped. The question "Doctor, did you review the complete record?" has a clean answer. Turnaround is committed against your examination date. The finished summary is a clean PDF you can work from during the exam and cite while you write.
Record Summary gets you the chronology; Summary + Analysis adds the flagged findings most examiners want in hand before the exam.
Three tiers
The Record Summary and Summary + Analysis tiers report the record objectively, because a summary only holds up if it can be defended page by page. Your side still shapes the work: tell us at intake whether the matter is plaintiff, defense, workers' comp, or malpractice, and the review is focused on the questions your file turns on, with those answers easy to find.
When the case calls for more, Expert Medical-Legal Review adds the opinion of a board-certified physician on causation, permanency, disability, and future care — quoted per case from our medical-legal fee schedule.
